Mar Gregorios Matric & Higher secondary School is one of the flourishing schools of the Malankara Syrian Catholic Management of the diocese of Marthandam basically dedicated to the uplift of rural children. The late Bishop Most. Rev. Lawrence Mar Ephraem is the founder of this school. The bishop of the diocese is the Manager of the school and he appoints a Correspondent and Co- Correspondent. The daughters of Mary Sisters are rendering their services for the growth of the Institution since 1978.
In the academic year 1978, the school was started into Matriculation school with Nursery & LKG to V and in the year 1993 it was upgraded into Stds VI to X and in the year 1999 it was again upgraded into a Matriculation Higher Secondary School with Std XI & XII.
